Travel plan

Today it is not unusual for people, especially retirees, to spend significant time away from their homes each year vacationing, visiting relatives or attending special events. If a death should occur while out of the country or just out of town on a brief trip, bringing a loved one back home can be a complicated and expensive process.

We offer a travel plan as part of our pre-paid funeral plan that covers expenses if a death occurs while travelling.

We take care of all the details and expenses of bringing you back home in case of death while travelling. For example, we cover all costs for transportation of the deceased to the funeral home, all costs incurred for paperwork required if death occurs in a foreign country as well as travel expenses (lodging and food) for next-of-kin associated with the trip to return home with the deceased.

When a death occurs this plan covers travel anywhere in the world...  100 kilometers or more away from home (which can be in the same province or only a few kilometers if you live near a border). One toll-free phone call is all it takes to begin the process of bringing you home.
